Hylite is a Hip hop group/record label from Hayward, California. The label consists of two emcees and one producer: Ash, B. Montana, and Showtime; former member named AK was featured on the label's first album "The Hylite Reel". Their unique music blends Gangsta rap, Hip hop, and hyphy with mainstream beats and lyrics. The group is known for its bay area single "Shine Brite" (2006) featuring The Team, from The Hylite Reel album. Most of the album is a showcase of the Hayward trio, including an array of production by Hylite's own Showtime.
