Sarina Campanella

Sarina Campanella (Born November 6, 1997) is a young Filipino and Italian woman who secured and opened her clothing brand, Sacred Lotus, at just 18 years old. Born in the South Bay Area, California, she now owns and operates all the business done for the brand, including the illustrations and work executed for the shop. She specializes in clothing material only made in the USA, or is Fair Trade, W.R.A.P certified only. She is most established in the industry with her original artwork and modern styles, with each purchase having a portion donated to charities and causes around the globe. Her new project, The Homelessness Project is currently in the process of being set up to help those in need in the local area. Her illustrations and photography have reached local musicians such as Nef the Pharaoh and San Francisco native Berner.
Artistic Background
With both parents whom immigrated to America from the Philippines and Sicily, both had carried artistic ability, such as traditional illustration and sculpting. As a child, she would draw frequently and create physical, hand-made copies of her comics, paint, and also used the computer mouse to draw online. This helped her become a self-taught artist at a young age. She was increasingly interested at the rapid development of technology, and was eventually influenced by her older sister to try her part at Digital Art. Sarina began drawing seriously in 2009 at the age of 12. Her first artworks were created on a Wacom tablet bought by her mother, and by 2011, she had created the first logo and clothing illustrations for Sacred Lotus.
