She had played with other band such as Samael, Beto Vázquez Infinity, and Serenity studio and live. Early life As a child, Sandra became interested in music, she began to play the keyboards and the guitar but unfortunately, she wasn't very good at both instruments. But later, she decided to take up singing, her voice then became her favorite instrument, as it always brought her the feeling of getting closer to her soul. She didn't take vocal lessons since it was expensive to afford, but she just like her voice the way it is. For practice, she usually sings in front of mirrors. Up to her teenage years, Sandra and her friends founded a school band named "Mustard Onions", but the band only lasted for a short time. But at the ages of 15-16, Sandra became sure that she wanted to continue making music, and her heart since then belongs to metal and all it different colors. Career In 1994, Sandra was asked by the members of Dreams of Sanity to be the new voice for the band, alongside with Martina Hornbacher. She accepted the request and had a great chance to work on her voice and performance skills. While working with Dreams of Sanity, Sandra joined a heroic-metal band, from Germany called Siegfried, and had the possibility to train also her emotional, more aggressive kind of singing. After the split-up with Dreams of Sanity in April 2002, she joined Soulslide in Autumn 2002. At the same time while working with Soulslide, she started a project together with Waldemar Sorychta, named Eyes of Eden, in these two bands, Sandra can finally participitate on the songwriting, and to unfold her creativity. But unfortunately in 2005, Sandra had leave Soulslide and Eyes of Eden due to severe-health risk and had to stop singing. She was diagnosed with lymph node cancer and had 6 months of chemo- and radio-therapy, it made think a lot about life, and gave Sandra a totally different point of view. On December 28, 2006, Sandra announced that she became the new singer for Elis after the Tragic passing of Sabine Dünser. In order to show how Sandra's voice would appear on the next studio album, the band released the MCD Show Me The Way, on November 2007. On November 22, 2008, it was announced that the name of the new album would be Catharsis, which was inspired to the illnesses she went through shortly before joining Elis, and she arranged all the lyrics and the vocal arrangements to the album. In May 2011, Sandra had reached her point and made a decision to not continue on with Elis after 4 years of being part of the band. She left to pursuit her own aims and tasks.
