Roly Platt

Roly Platt (born July 5, 1958) Toronto, Ontario, Canada is a Canadian musician. He is a diatonic harmonica player. Platt is a live and studio musician.
Early career
After first learning to play harp listening to mostly blues and Bluegrass, Roly's early years on the road quickly introduced him to a much wider variety of music including country-swing, country rock, R&B and jazz. This experience of having to incorporate harp into non-traditional roles helped form his melodic approach to playing.
For the past 35 years, Platt has been one of Canada’s premier harmonica players. He has been recorded on over 1000 national commercials, TV/ film scores and album cuts.
