Don McCloskey is an unclassifiable musician from Bristol, Pennsylvania. One listen is enough to realize that he’s a little bit country, he’s a little bit rock-and-roll (not to mention hip-hop, folk and funk). Don's career to date has been all but ignored by the music industry at large. His pursuit of music, however, has landed him a few Philadelphia music awards, some appearances on VH1, a few songs on Philadelphia radio, a tour with G. Love and Special Sauce and a song on a Michael Moore documentary. He has come out with two albums, Bombs Over Bristol and Northern Liberties. Don (also known as "Big D") has developed a cult following, especially in the Philadelphia, New York, and Los Angeles areas where he tends to play most of his concerts. Website: www.enormousd.com |
