Robert R. Raymond

Robert R. Raymond (born July 24, 1954) is a former political candidate in Wisconsin.
Electoral career
Raymond was a candidate for the United States Senate in 1998 and 2000 as a member of the U.S. Taxpayers/Constitution Party. He lost to incumbents Russ Feingold and Herb Kohl. Since then, Raymond has run for the United States House of Representatives six times as an Independent. He has run to represent Wisconsin's 5th congressional district four times, losing each time to Jim Sensenbrenner. Raymond has also run in Wisconsin's 4th congressional district twice, losing each time to Gwen Moore. Raymond received the largest vote total for a third party candidate, non presidential candidate, in the country in 2008 receiving over 70,000 votes in his Congressional race. He received 30,000 votes in 2010 and 10,000 votes in 2012.
