Andy Horning

Andrew Michael "Andy" Horning (born June 20, 1958) is an American political activist, conservative Christian, writer and clinical consultant.
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, he currently resides on a small farm near Bloomington, Indiana in a burg called Freedom. He was the Libertarian candidate in the Indiana gubernatorial election, 2008. Horning finished third of the three candidates on the ballot with 57,376 votes for 2.12% of the vote .
In 2002 Horning was the Libertarian Party's candidate for congress in Indiana's seventh congressional district. Horning finished third among the three candidate on the ballot with 3,919 votes for 2.69% of the total vote [http://clerk.house.gov/member_info/electionInfo/2002/2002Stat.htm#14].
In 2004 Horning was again a candidate for congress in Indiana's seventh congressional district but this time as a Republican. His results as the Republican nominee were much improved from his performance two years earlier as a libertarian, Horning finished second of the three candidate running with 97,491 votes for 43.68% of the vote
