fp.board is an Internet forum software produced by Chris Fuenty, creator of other projects such as Swift, the original WebKit web browser for Windows. It is written in PHP and primarily using MySQL (other database engines are available), it is comparable to other forum software. fp.board is an open source project that is aimed to replicate, but not exactly duplicate, the IP.Board software. Version 1.0 (Codename boo) Version 1.0, Codename boo, is currently in the final stages of development. Alpha 1.0 (January 26th, 2009) - Initial release of fp.board. Release Candidate 1.0 (March 28th, 2009) Release Candidate 1.1 (March 30th, 2009) - This fixes installer issues with boo, as well as fixing the cookie handling issue. Release Candidate 2.0 (April 08th, 2009) - Tidy up the themes in the ACP and UCP Add new CIDR ban support in D:Line bans Add mibbit widget in the ACP for admin help Add update checker to check if fp.board is up to date or not. Fix the bug with avatar filenames reported by adragons. Removed the MySQL code from inc.func.php and put it into a dedicated DB engine. fp.board now HAS the ability to use alterntive databases but only a MySQL DBE is shipped. Release Candidate 3.0 (April 26th, 2009) - No changes officially noted.
