Open Blog

Open Blog is a free and open source blogging platform built using the CodeIgniter PHP framework and released under the GNU General Public License.
It provides users with a very powerful yet easy to use interface which makes blogging simple and enjoyable.
The latest release of Open Blog is 1.1.0, released on March 1, 2009. This release includes many new features as well as some minor bug fixes.
Some of the more important features are: social bookmarking, dynamic sidebar and navigation, an extended WYSIWYG editor, a statistics page and a special option which displays information about important security updates on the dashboard.
