Gerald H. Boyle is a former political candidate in Wisconsin. Biography Boyle was born on June 15, 1972 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and the Pepperdine University School of Law. In 1994, Boyle joined the United States Marine Corps. He would serve as a platoon commander and executive officer with the 4th Marine Regiment. Boyle remained on active duty until 1999, when he transferred to the United States Marine Corps Reserve. In 2002, Boyle was deployed to serve in the Iraq War. He was assigned to the I Marine Expeditionary Force with the rank of major. Political career Boyle was a candidate for the United States House of Representatives from Wisconsin's 4th congressional district in 2004, losing to Gwen Moore. He is a Republican.
