Peter Theron is a member of the faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a former political candidate. Academic career Theron teaches statistics, mathematics and computer science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, he has taught at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and Beloit College. Political career Theron ran for the United States House of Representatives from Wisconsin's 2nd congressional district in 2008, losing to incumbent Tammy Baldwin.
