Josephine Victoria Boozman, known as Vickey Boozman (born 1946), is a former candidate for Arkansas State Representative, District 99, a position formerly held by the term-limited Horace Hardwick.Boozman lost the Republican primary election for the seat in 2008 to Tim Summers of Bentonville. Boozman served on the Arkansas Board of Health until 2008. She has three grown children and six grandchildren. She is also a member of the Benton County Republican Committee and the Southern Baptist Church at Pinnacle Hills in Rogers, Arkansas. Her brother-in-law, John Boozman, has been a GOP member of the United States House of Representatives since 2001, representing the 3rd District of Arkansas. In 2010, he defeated nine candidates to win the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate outright. Fay Boozman was the unsuccessful GOP candidate for this seat in 1998. The incumbent Democrat, Blanche Lincoln, who defeated Fay Boozman in 1998, is seeking a third term in 2010.(map). Boozman is a resident of Cave Springs in Benton County. In her campaign for representative, she highlighted such issues as immigration, the right to life, taxes, education, gun rights, and infrastructure.<ref name="arkansasnews.com"/>
