Revisional Cosmetic Surgery

Revisional Cosmetic surgery is a reconstructive corrective procedure that is done to fix mistakes and complications that have occurred from a surgery the patient has previously endured. Revisional surgery is often sought because a patient is dissatisfied with the aesthetic outcome of the first surgery. They can either be dissatisfied with an overly conservative procedure, or, because a surgical misjudgment was made by the doctor. For this reason, it is important to have cosmetic and plastic surgery performed by a competent and experienced plastic surgeon. In addition to aesthetic discrepancies, there are many medical reasons why revisional surgery is needed.
