<b>Ravindra Choudhary</b> is NRI, Alumni of Birla Institute of Technology and Science(BITS Pilani) where he finished his Master of Engineering in Computer Science and also completed his MBA in Finance from University of St. Thomas, Minneapolis - Minnesota, USA. He received his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI organization USA
He acquired 15 years of industry experience with companies like IBM Corp.(USA), SIEMENS CORP.(USA) and Fujitsu ICIM. His experience include leading role at SIEMENS USA in project consultancy&design, development and execution(site implantation) of SCADA/EMS (Energy Management System) of deregulation of Power Companies in EI Salvador(Central America)work in the area of deregulation and automation with leading power companies around the world like Northern Ireland Electric Company(NIE), Xcel Energy USA, Nebraska Public Power Dept(NPPD)USA, Baltimore Gas and Electric Company(BGE)USA and Israil Electric Company(IEC).
He lead the project for automated energy services at Xcel Energy, USA like wireless meter reading and distribution the same information with different channels like Web, Email and telephony like IVR/VRU. He also had an opportunity to work with Customer Care Center and Data Center with IBM Global Services where he executed projects like Credit Card Automation, E-Bill (Web based payment system), E-Procurement,E-Workforce Management System(Resource Management System) and designing Digester Recovery System.
In 2002, he decided to come back from USA to contribute/ pay back his own motherland and join/ promote Baldev Ram Mirdha Institute of Technology (the Engineering and Management College) to make it world class Institute. He is working with Microsolf, RedHat, Orcale to start an Academy Programs and working with ITG USA to setup "Telecom Related Competency Center", working with IBM USA to setup "EDUCATIONAL CENTER for IBM Softwares" at BMIT Campus
