Race Wars is an album by the American rapper mc chris that was released September 2, 2011. It includes twelve new songs, only two of which had been previously released through mc chris' Facebook and website, and seven skits. mc celebrated the release of the album at a birthday/record release party for the album at Death By Audio. The day prior, he had announced that many orders purchased through his website were being shipped out. Unlike the release of mc chris Goes To Hell, by the time of the birthday party, fully finished CDs had been pressed and were sold at the event, while many fans received their pre-orders within the following days. The track titles have since become spread by fans who were at the birthday party show and were given the information during the performance. The tracklist was recently confirmed when the album was released for download on iTunes and Amazon.com. *The first four skits call back to The Imperial Senate/Podcast Rebellion group, characters who appeared on the skit "Magic" from mc chris is dead as well as several skits released through mcchris.com well back to 2002 if not earlier. Their obscureness is further commented on by the character Mr. Chandler in the "Necronomicon" skit. *There is approximately ten minutes of silence before the "Necronomicon" skit, most likely to give the illusion of a hidden track or "Fake Ending" as the skit before it suggests. *"Ninja Mom" can be heard throughout the earlier skit "Muddy Bears" to be a trailer playing inside a movie theater as the Podcast Rebellion group tries to find seats. Because of this, both skits are roughly the same length. *"Nerd Cave" and "Tarantino" (Formally known as "QT") were both released in advance by mc chris through his Facebook page and mcchris.com, "Nerd Cave" only being a short clip of the full song. The previous version of "Tarantino" also included dialogue samples from the Quentin Tarantino film Reservoir Dogs, but were removed from the final version included on the album. The original clip of "Nerd Cave" ends after the second chorus to mc shouting the release date of the album. *"Jones" expresses mc chris' want to ingest marijuana with actor Harrison Ford and goes on in detail to list activities the two would do if the opportunity were to arise.
