"Postcards from Far Away" is a short, piano ballad featured on Coldplay's 2008 EP, Prospekt's March. About the song The song was one of many songs written for, but didn't appear on, LP4. Many songs, including "Lukas","Rainy Day", "The Goldrush", and "Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground", were scrapped and did not appear on the album. It was one of the 20 songs included on the September 5, 2007 list of songs to be chosen for LP4 that Coldplay had posted on their website. The song is entirely a piano-only solo performed by Chris Martin, with music (supposedly) written by drummer Will Champion. Reception The song has received good reviews from fans, though some have complained that it is "too short for such a great song" and that it is "a waste of a track". Some fans also feel the song is like something off of Coldplay's debut album, Parachutes.
