Song of Return

Song Of Return are an alternative rock band, based in Glasgow, Scotland. The band was formed by former members of the group Union of Knives, which disbanded towards the end of 2009. The group have announced that they plan to release their debut album in early 2011.
Formation
The group was formed in January 2010 following the split of Gordon and Grant's former outfit Union of Knives, with the group's first public appearance in Glasgow on the 25th March, 2010.
On the split of UoK and formation of Song of Return, Grant notes:
In May of 2010, the band made two songs available for free download from their official website. Following this, a collection of works-in-progress and alternate versions of songs was made available at the band's Soundcloud.
In June of 2010 the band embarked on a short Scottish tour.
The ensemble features members of other notable Scottish acts, including Louis Abbott of Admiral Fallow and Peter Kelly of Piano Bar Fight.
