PopimsCode

PopimsCode is a standard barcode comprising also randomly distributed micro-particles made visible through a magnifying lenses array.
Each additional lense is constituted by a drop of varnish on top of each cell, and the reader sees only through each lens the microscopic particule which is aligned with the optical center of the lense.
It combines the advantages of miniaturization with visibility to the naked eye.
* Reproduction is impossible because particles are too small to be placed at the right place with known printing techniques.
* Thinness and compactness make it compatible with all types of products or documents, and cost is negligible.
* Authentication is made possible with a PC or a smartphone.
A PopimsCode is decoded from a predetermined location (e.g. at a distance of 10 cm of the code, on the line starting from the center of the code which is perpendicular to its plane) because it has different values depending on the location from which it is looked at.
This code has been invented in 2011 by Franck Guigan. It is patent pending.

Applications are all those of barcodes, but mainly:
* personal identification on the Internet before granting specific rights (e.g. access to Intranets or bank accounts, social sites, etc.) ;
* online email and agreement signature,
* fighting against counterfeiting and documentary fraud (a code is printed on the product or document to be protected, or on a sticker that cannot be unstuck withoub being simultaneously destroyed - which enables everyone to check the authenticity of the product or document, because reading a genuine code leads automatically to the product or document detailed information, which is stored on a unique central server).
