Philipp Hebestreit (born 25 February 1978 in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, Germany) is a German businessman, action artist, and social detractor. He is the son of a manager and a tax accountant. In 2001 he founded his first company, "Imperial Status GbR" (placement of artists, event employees and service for international fairs). In the same year he received a career advancement award from the European Union. In the summer of 2002, Hebestreit was engaged by a Cologne acting agency, which led to some featured parts on German television, such as the role of Markus Grubert in the RTL series "Anwälte der Toten". After his graduation from the Ruhr University in Bochum and the Humboldt-University in Berlin, he founded the film production company "Hebestreit Film Ltd." based in Düsseldorf. His work focused on the production of commercials and motion pictures. In addition, he developed fictional stories for cinema. In 2008, Hebestreit drew attention with a socio-critical global art project. |
