Frank Mirbach

Frank Mirbach is a German film director, cinematographer and producer.
After being graduated at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne Frank Mirbach soon became a cinematographer for international broadcasters and independent filmmakers. He started his directing career with music clips back in 1990, soon followed by commercials.
As a logical step in Frank Mirbach’s professional and artistic career he founded the Aachen Germany based film production company Mineworks Film in 1992 providing him the opportunity to realize film and TV productions worldwide. Since the company’s formation, Mirbach has produced television features, image films, commercials, music clips and documentaries.
With "The Curse of the Indian Gold" Mirbach produced, shot and directed one of 2005’s most successful German drama documentaries exploring a Canadian gold miner legend. With "Mystika", a four part documentary series for the German network RTL II, which Mirbach shot and co-directed, he proofed his talent to tell fact-based stories in a cinematic way. In 2006 the Filmstiftung NRW (NRW Film Foundation) ranked Mirbach’s company as one of North Rhine-Westphalia’s most important documentary specialized film production companies.
Recently Mirbach is producing and directing "Real Buddy" a dramatic and comical Science Fiction movie with an international cast. Among others this ambitious independent film stars Steve Hudson, Dietrich Hollinderbäumer and Heinrich Schafmeister.
