MYSTERY BOX (sometimes referred to by its full name, "Mystery Box Studios") is a London-based creative production company that was founded in 2011. The company represents several internationally acclaimed artists, namely James "Signalnoise" White , Radim "Brand Nu" Malinic and comic artist, Neil Googe. Company History The company started as an agency representing creative talent (including illustrators, designers, animators, art directors and web developers), but soon became an independent production company in its own right. It is understood that TV Presenter Alex Suchet co-founded the agency with a business partner, Oliver Judge, who at the time, was the agent of James "Signalnoise" White. Sometime in 2011, shortly after launch, Judge left the company to pursue other interests whilst Suchet took over. Since then, MYSTERY BOX has grown into an internationally recognised design studio, employing 10+ artists across 7 countries, with clients such as Volvo, FOX, ESPN, Danone, Opera and Adobe, for agencies such as DDB, unit9 and Goodby Silverstein & Partners. About MYSTERY BOX is a unique creative production company, incorporating a collection of internationally established image makers, to produce work across fields including art direction, illustration, web development and graphic design. Their work can be seen across a range of styles and platforms, for internationally established brands, advertising agencies and businesses. Movie Posters In 2011, the company released an alternate movie poster for the film DRIVE, by James White . The artwork immediately went viral, causing MYSTERY BOX to seek to acquire the license rights from Film District to allow them to manufacture and sell the artwork in a limited edition run of screenprints. The entire edition sold out 5 hours after going on sale . This paved the way for a entire "alternate movie poster cult", now dominated by Mondo based in Austin, Texas. Since the release of "Drive", the company has collaborated with Studiocanal to produce a run of limited edition posters for the film, Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
