Peter Chadha

Dr. Harpreet Singh Chadha, also known as Peter Chadha or Dr. Pete, is a British technologist and businessman.
Early career
Chadha, a British-born Sikh, started his career in a family owned fashion business in Soho, London, going on to study for a PhD at University College London where he developed computerised models for the pharmaceutical industry.
Under the guidance of Professor Michael Abraham and SmithKline Beecham at University College London, Chadha and his co-workers discovered that the model used for over 30 years of scientific understanding of drug penetration through this skin were wrong. Their work demonstrated that there is only one route for drugs into the stratum corneum.
Computing career
Chada's Ph.D. required significant work on early personal computers (PCs). evaluating new and evolving technologies in smaller companies as well as complex enterprise systems for large consultancies. He was also involved with technology assessments including the initial public offering (IPO) of PartyGaming in 2005, which saw a main market listing on the FTSE and evaluation of over £4 billion.
Chadha founded DrPete Inc, a firm providing business working on technology based projects, reviewing hardware, software and technology organisational set-ups., and his views are featured in the specialist IT Cloud press as well as the Financial Times,
Chadha campaigns for child safety online, and on IT friendly government policies.<ref name="computerweekly" />
Publications
In 2013 Chadha published his first book, co-authored with Frank Bennett called Thinking of Going Google Apps?, ISBN 978-1907453151.
