Paul Massara

Paul Joseph Massara (born 31 July 1965) is a British-Canadian businessman, and a former Chief Executive of RWE npower, the British electricity company (former National Power), and one of the Big Six.
Early life
He has a BSc degree in Geography, and a degree from the London Business School.
Career
Centrica
From 1997-2005 he worked with Centrica, and its subsidiary Direct Energy, for its Canadian operations.
In June 2008 he became Chair of the Toronto Region Board of Trade.
RWE npower
In November 2011 he became Chief Operating Officer of Npower, remaining until December 2012.
As Chief Executive, he was paid £600,000. His company received many customer complaints, some of the highest for any company in the UK. On Monday 24 August 2015 he resigned as Chief Executive.
Personal life
He has two children.
