Ozi Amanat

Ozi Amanat is a Harvard University graduate and Senior Vice President at Oppenheimer & Co. Mr. Amanat helped his family build Tradescape, a next-generation brokerage, technology and asset management firm that processed over 7% of NASDAQ's daily trading volume and was one of the largest electronic brokerage firms in the United States (by trading volume) in 2002 when it sold to for $96.2 million in initial consideration, plus a potential $180 million in contingent consideration. Tradescape was named as one of the "Top 100 Companies in the United States" by Red Herring Magazine.
Amanat is a U.S. businessman and entrepreneur who began his career creating stock investing models while attending Harvard University. Amanat joined his family at Tradescape and had great success with his trading models and helped his family build the company. The brokerage and technology firm eventually grew annual revenues to over $250 million. acquired Tradescape for $96.2 million in initial consideration plus $180 million in contingent consideration. Amanat currently manages the assets of individuals, institutions and philanthropists at Oppenheimer & Co..
Amanat is a member of the philathropic leadership council of the department of medicine of Mount Sinai Hospital and on the Board of Seeds of Peace, is the treasurer of Abraham's Vision and in 2007 donated to Synergos.
Amanat recently accepted the Seeds of Peace PeaceMaker Award.
