The United States Gold Bureau was originally founded in 2003. The assets of the firm were subsequently acquired by three private investors in October 2008.

Patriot Act, Section 352, as passed by the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President George W. Bush on October 26, 2001 and extended by President Barack Obama on May 26, 2011.
