Our Redeemer Lutheran Church

Our Redeemer Lutheran Church is home to a New Jersey Synod congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Our Redeemer is located in the city of Dumont, New Jersey.

The congregation recently celebrated its 75th anniversary. The original church building is one of the oldest in Dumont. It has gone through several transformations over the years, adding a new main sanctuary and an education wing.

Membership as of 2002 stood at 300 baptized and 255 confirmed. Average attendance is 99. Sunday school has 33 pupils.

The Rev. James H. McKinley, pastor, has been with Our Redeemer since August, 1986.
