ONELAN

ONELAN Limited is a manufacturer of Digital Signage and TV Streaming hardware and software. Originally formed in 1988, its headquarters are based in Henley-on-Thames.
The Company's Digital Signage hardware media player powers thousands of digital screens world-wide.
In July 2010, ONELAN was awarded the Queen's Awards for Enterprise 2010 in the Innovation category.
Education
The ONELAN system has been used in many of the schools that were updated as part of the BSF project to enhance the learning experience and culture. It can be used for a variety of different applications in schools, when combined with slide along services such as the sometimes bundled video streaming hardware to produce pupil short TV shows. Its primary use is the conveying of school announcements to reinforce the important announcements told in class, or to cover less important topics that would otherwise go unmentioned such as minor student awards, or the result of classroom scores. Most commonly these announcements go along side a changing rolling slide show of photos covering previous school events or classroom trips.
