Omid Majd

Omid Majd is an author and publisher of Persian literature. He is currently teaching at the University of Tehran in Tehran, Iran. Omid Majd is critically acclaimed for his Persian poetic translation of the Qur'an Majid (originally in Arabic), which he now independently publishes and sells domestically in Iran, and internationally to the international Persian community. Although Omid Majd is most famous for his poetic translation of Arabic text, he is also the author of critically acclaimed contemporary Persian poetry, such as his latest work, "Yadigari Bahar". Omid Majd founded a private publishing company named after himself during 1377 (Persian Calendar) / 1998 (Georgan Calendar). |
