Nigel Thomas

Nigel Thomas is an English musician, singer-songwriter and rhythm guitarist for the band The Foxes. After writing and performing many solo songs, he created the band in 2006 with Alex Douglas.
Nigel has been featured in many music magazines and newspapers - such as NME - and has also been interviewed on many radio stations - local and international - such as the BBC. Additionally, Nigel has appeared on international television stations, news channels and music channels, including MTV2.
Looking to pursue a music career, Nigel Thomas gave up a full-time job in the professional health service, working in the mental health commission. Prior to their first performance, regarding the subject, he stated: “We’re really excited about the Wirral date, because it’s nice to be playing at a venue that isn’t a clichéd place."

Nigel Thomas is also the main founder of the band's record label Room 10 Records. The company was primarily founded to release The Foxes début single 'Trauma Town', which reached number 9 in the Official UK Indie charts; and has also been used to release their next single 'Bill Hicks' - based on the famous comedian - which reached number 1 in the Play.com pre order download charts, and number 6 in the official UK Indie Charts.
The company have just released The Foxes latest single 'Lover, Killer' which has been available from the 3rd August 2009 on 7" Vinyl, CD and Download.
The band member Nigel Thomas states,
Nigel has recently been interviewed on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire by Sue Marchant with a live performance, and will be appearing on the Fox 13 TV show "Good Day Utah" with an interview and will also play a couple of songs, first at 6am and another at 7am.
Room 10 Records
Founded in August 2008, Room 10 Records are a small record company, owned by the band The Foxes.
The name of the record label originates from the room the band use for rehearsal at Survival Studios in North London.
The band used this label to release their début single 'Trauma Town', and their second single 'Bill Hicks' under this label.
The company have just released the latest single from The Foxes 'Lover, Killer' which has been available from the 3rd August 2009 on 7" Vinyl, CD and Download.
