What is CLeBo?
CleBo is a game board that combined multiple elements found in classic board games, and turn them into a new single super fun board game. The name 'CLeBo' comes from acronym of CLever Board, emphasizing on the usage of brain and cleverness to achieve the victory in a game.
The Clever Board game concept was invented by Billy Kurniadi and officially released at February 2010.
He developed a concept where a game not only must be fun, but it can also be used to teach a lot of good things to younger kids such as the benefit of school and study. The game was build base on some positive factors such as: Kids Moral Education, Motivation, Visualization, Math and Strategy.
The Game Package
The game package consists of
- 1 board
- 2 dices
- 4 set of different color pawns, and each set has 4 pawns.
- 24 command cards
Game Play
The game can be played by 2 to 4 players, for players age 6 and above. Each player competes to play his/her pawns crossing over 64 squares to reach the star square. When all four pawns from the same set reach the star square, the player who own those pawns wins the game. One of the interesting elements of this game is surprise squares, where they contains modifiers that can make the pawns jump a few squares ahead or backward. The addition of 24 command cards also make the winner of this game very unpredictable, since with a single flip of a card, it can send multiple pawns to the star square and easily change the tide of the game.
