Nicole Goetz

Nicole Goetz is Operation Homefront’s 2011 Military Child of the Year for the Air Force and is a spokesperson for the Department of Defense’s National Center for Telehealth & Technology (T2)'s Military Kids Connect. Aside from her military support involvement, she is a full time student at Emory University where she is pursuing a major in international relations. On top of classes, she spends her time as Oxford College’s Circle K President, an AmeriCorps Bonner Leader, and writes for the Covington News.
Nicole has been recognized both nationally and internationally for her efforts in supporting the troops. Both General Schwartz and First Lady Michelle Obama recognized her at the 2011 Military Child of the Year awards in Washington D.C., Obama jokingly bragged about Goetz’s accomplishments and commented, “Sheesh, you must be tired.”
She is also the daughter of Command Chief Master Sgt. Michael J. Goetz.
