Necessary Evil Clothing is a brand of Gothic and Alternative clothing, marketed as affordable alternative clothes in a wide range of styles. Origins and Aims Necessary Evil was created by Kate Seagroatt in 2003 and has reinvented Gothic fashion 'without the crushed velvet cliché'. Necessary Evil clothes are designed to flatter women's shapes. Publicity The retail company and organises events in Birmingham, where the company is based, for the local alternative community.
