Chakela, publicly known as Mosotho Chakela was (born 1963 in Mafeteng Lesotho) He is a cultural music singer. BIOGRAPHY ---- Mosotho Chakela rose to prominence with his first album named manka le phallang 1.The album was released early 1999 under the Shear Record Company,where he sold a platinum. The album has hits like,o ka nketsang,ha ke noa joala,mosali and many more. He came to the spot-light again the following year with another hit album called manka le phallang no.2. In his second album,he talks about the political leaders of Lesotho which made him an eye opener to many Basotho nations. He has since been consistence,releasing hit after hit. Apart from his signing talent,he is a great business man ever to be born in the mountanius Kingdom of Lesotho. He owns 13 liquer stores,7 of which are located in the Capital City of Lesotho,Maseru. There of those are in the second largest City calle Leribe while the remaining three are in his beloved small town where he was born,Mafeteng.
