Moira Fitzpatrick, N.D., Ph.D., founder of Hanbleceya, Inc., a mental health services and facility focused on rehabilitation and featured on "In View with Larry King" television series, is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Naturopathic Doctor (N.D.) and a board certified diplomate-fellow in Psychopharmacology through the International College of Prescribing Psychologists and Prescribing Psychologists' Register. She is based in San Diego, California. Fitzpatrick founded Hanbleceya, Inc. in 1979, which is a treatment community in La Mesa, California for those with mental disorders. In 2012 Fitzpatrick was the Vice President of Bastyr University California at its founding. This is the California branch campus of Bastyr University for naturopathic medicine in Washington State and the only accredited school of naturopathic medicine in California. Fitzpatrick served on the Bastyr University Board of Trustees from 2012 - 2013. She was elected as a board member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) for 2016. Fitzpatrick's private practice is located at Pacific Pearl La Jolla, where she sees patients independently and supports an M.D./N.D. model of patient assessment and care with Pacific Pearl La Jolla founder Mimi Guarneri and an team of medical doctors, naturopathic doctors and other certified practitioners at Guarneri Integrative Health, Inc. Fitzpatrick is a speaker on topics from integrative medicine and the mind-body connection to health to hormones and nutrition, among other health and wellness topics. Prior to relocating to San Diego, Fitzpatrick founded the Emerald Center for Integrative Medicine in Seattle, Washington, where she focused on primary care, women's health and naturopathic psychiatry. She received her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington and did a residency with Tori Hudson through the National College of Natural Medicine. Fitzpatrick received her Ph.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego. She has worked in mental health since 1979.
