Brian Cain

Brian Cain is a peak performance coach and sport psychology consultant from Burlington, Vermont. He works with professional, collegiate and high school athletes on mastering their mental game, performing at their best and being more confident, positive and mentally tough. Cain is the author of Toilets, Bricks, Fish Hooks and PRIDE a book about how coaches and athletes have used sport psychology and mental skills training to unlock their peak potential and perform at their best on a consistent basis. This book is a best seller and sold 3200 copies in 32 days.
Cain has also worked as a high school athletic director at North Country Union High School in Newport, VT (2004-2007) and Mt. Mansfield Union High School in Jericho, VT (2007-2011). He has also spoken to national audiences at the 2011 American Baseball Coaches Association National Conference in Nashville, TN, the 2010 American Fastpitch Coaches Association National Conference in San Diego, CA and multiple times at the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association National Conference.
Cain has worked as a sport psychology coach to Ultimate Fighting Championship World Champion Georges St. Pierre as well as with The Washington Nationals Professional Baseball Organization and many top collegiate athletic programs including the University of Alabama, University of Tennessee, University of Maryland, University of Southern California, Washington State University, Oregon State University, University of Mississippi, Vanderbilt, Auburn and Texas Christian University.
Cain is also the founder of the Vermont Coaches Association dedicated to professional development for coaches in the State of Vermont.
