Michael Hulme

Michael Aaron Hulme (b. November 21, 1988) is a swimmer at the Ohio State University. A 2008 Olympic Trial qualifier, Hulme competes in the individual medley, backstroke and freestyle events for the Buckeyes.
Biography
Early life and education
Michael Hulme was born November 21, 1988 in Bozeman, Montana. His father, John, was an All-American swimmer and captain for Ohio State from 1969-71. He attended the Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida 2005-07. In his senior year, Hulme claimed runner-up in the 200-yard individual medley at the 2006 Florida High School State Championships.
College career
Currently working towards a double B.A. in Economics and Political Science, Hulme has been named an OSU Scholar-Athlete three consecutive years.
At the 2008 OSU Invitational, Hulme finished fourth in the 400-yard individual medley, stopping the clock at three minutes, 55.58 seconds. Ohio State would go on to win the meet.
During the 2009 Speedo Champions Series at Oxford, Ohio, Hulme finished third to teammate J.P. Farra and Andre Koop of Purdue. Hulme is presently coaching both the club team and a junior team with the University of Denver.
