Michael Beardsley

Michael Dean Beardsley (born March 5 1976) is an American actor. He began acting during the late 1990s.

Biography
Personal life
Michael was born in Santa Cruz, California, the son of Robert and Kerry Beardsley. He grew up in California with his older brother, David. Michael graduated from San Lorenzo Valley High School in 1994, where he was accomplished member of the Track and Cross Country teams, in his senior year, he was team captain of both. He then enrolled at the University of California, Santa Cruz as a Theater Arts major, and studied acting. In 1998, Michael graduated UCSC with a BA in Theater Arts.

Acting career
After graduating from UCSC, Michael moved to Los Angeles, California, and began pursuing acting as a career. While auditioning and playing small roles, Michael continued to study various acting techniques for many years. Since then, he has acting in various movies and television show, but has yet to get his “big break”. Michael is perhaps best known for the small role he played in short-lived but well-reviewed television series Freaks and Geeks; his character, “Humphries”, achieved a bit of a cult following among the fans, and was even asked to do an audio commentary on the DVD release of the series.
