Merlin Mania

Merlin Mania is an un-official Merlin Entertainments fan site. It opened on March 15th 2010. Its forums opened two days later. One of the things being planned for the site are Merlin Mania Live where they will have a live thread from a Merlin Entertainments Theme Park, these include places like Alton Towers,Thorpe Park and Legoland Windsor. Development When Merlin Mania was being built over three months there was a marketing campaign sent out on the Mania Mania owners famous YouTube channels and the Project name was called "Project MM" Not much of a good project name but it got people guessing. The website went through three different behind the scene design changes form a bright blue to a back to the gray colour we opened with. Over the development time the designer was working on it as much as they could. History When the site opened on the 15th March 2010 many people flocked to the new website and loved the design and the fact that it was the first ever Merlin Entertainments fan site. The site did open with no guides for any Merlin theme parks but there were all ready to be added in the following weeks. On Wednesday 17th March Merlin mania had there forums opened which followed the site design and many members came along and signed up and within a week they had over 30 members and nearly 1,500 posts. Ever since then there forums have been growing. After a few technical problems the main site had to be taken down due to the pictures and the file corrupting the whole site. Over this time the site's forums went quite until the new site opens which will be a few weeks after the main site went down.
