pxSpot is a website for sharing digital photos.

History
pxSpot was created in 2006 pxSpot, Inc that primarily assisted small companies in their online marketing initiatives.

On March 15, 2006, pxSpot launched a beta site that had a primary goal of accepting photos and videos from mobile telephones that were camera

enabled. The site now accepts uploads from users computers in addition to simple emailing of photos and videos from any device that is email enabled.

Features

The site is similar to other photo and image sharing sites with a number of so-called Web 2.0 features such as Ajax. pxSpot

also enabled users the ability to notify via email any contacts they associated with a particular album to be aware of new photos or videos. They allow

diffent contacts for each album and the ability to send pictures to a specific album by using email notations when sending.

Recently added features include unlimited slideshow widgets to be created from albums with teh ablity to display such widgets on mySpace and other social

networking sites.

Accounts

pxSpot has no limits on uploading and storing photos at this time. A user can create group accounts to group people with a certain account that have

similar interests.
