Biography
Early Life
As young, Quiintero showed great passion in art, and especially comics. He started out as an easily-inspired hobby-artist, drawing comics and simple objects. Later, whilst stydying in school, he had a chance for the first time to watch the show Dragon Ball. This was when his love for Manga and anime truly came to him. His desire for research into the artists of this new, interesting style keeps with him till today, and artists like Joe Madureria and Carlos Pacheco are responsible for his love of comics, and artists like Satoshi Urushihara, Jun Tsukasa and Shishizaru are his greatest influence in his interest to Manga.
Education
In 2000, he started his studies in graphic design, but there were very few academic options in his country that he saw fit his desire. He was considered the best in his class, delivering high-quality artwork. The same year, he also started his site "reiq.ws". He didn't stop drawing, not even while studying.
Career
He worked as a freelance graphic designer in several firms after his studies, but he had always wanted to become an illustrator. While he was working as a graphic designer, he also published a lot of his own art on his website and different magazines in different countries. By 2005, a massive fan base had built up and a waiting list of different commissions had become a reality.
