Lydia Fox

Lydia Fox (born 1979 in Yorkshire) is an English actress. She is the daughter of James Fox and sister of fellow actor Laurence Fox.
Education and Early Work
Lydia attended Cambridge University and starred in such plays as Old Times and the Marlowe Society's production of Romeo and Juliet.
Her first professional role was Viola in Creation's production of Twelfth Night. In 2004, Fox starred as Undine in Sphinx Theater Company's production of The Little Mermaid. She received positive reviews, as did the production. She also appeared in Simon Gray's Holy Terror with Simon Callow earlier in 2004.
Recent Television and Film Work
Lydia has also worked in television and film, usually as a one-off character. She first appeared on television in 2004 in Garth Marenghi's Darkplace as Rick's wife in the episode "Skipper the Eyechild". She was also a wise man in AD/BC: A Rock Opera, Matt's girl in Someone Else, Paloma Duncan in the "Blood Ties" episode of Holby City. She also portrayed Marriane Parks in an episode of Lillies, Laura Knightley in "The Work Outing" episode of The IT Crowd and the estate agent in the first episode of Secret Diary of a Call Girl.
Personal life
Fox is the granddaughter of the theatrical agent Robin Fox and the actress Angela Fox (nee Worthington). She is the fourth of actor James Fox's five children. She has four brothers, including Laurence Fox, an actor and husband of Billie Piper. On 8 September 2007, Fox married actor, comedian, writer, and director Richard Ayoade. She currently lives in Kennington, in South London with her husband.
