Colleen Davie Janes is an American film director, producer, screenwriter and actress. She has directed commercials, short films and theatre. Her first feature film is Maam’s Crossing (release 2011). She has worked as a production assistant, coordinator, unit production manager, producer, and a below-the-line agent for film and television, owning her own agency 2004-2006, Gorilla Reps. After dissolving her company to pursue directing, she created her festival worthy short film Stranger. The master copy of the film was destroyed by faulty lab work, and so it's festival run was cut short. As conservatory trained actress and former stand-up comedian, she has performed hundreds of times in New York City and around the United States and received call-backs to the world renowned The Actor’s Studio in New York City.
