Weatherfield is a fictional area of Greater Manchester in the British ITV soap opera Coronation Street

Rovers Return Inn

Many people have lived here in the past. Shelly Unwin lived here with her mother Bev for some time when she ran the pub. When they both left, Steve McDonald bought the pub and moved in with his mother Liz McDonald and her boyfriend Vernon Tomlin. Steve's daughter Amy Barlow came to live here when her mother Tracy was sent to prison. In 2007, Michelle Connor and Ryan Connor moved in. Michelle's biological son Alex Neeson also stayed for a brief period in early 2008. Vernon moved out in July 2008, after splitting up with Liz.

No. 1
Number 1 has been home to the Barlows for many years. Ken Barlow owns the house after it was willed to him following the death of his former uncle-in-law, Albert Tatlock. and raised his family in it. When Tracy Barlow returned in 2002, she stayed here. Also her daughter Amy lived here as well. Peter Barlow and Adam Barlow have both lived here at various times.

No. 2a

This is the flat above Audrey Roberts' salon, which was previously inhabited by Maria Sutherland and Fiz Brown. Maria moved out in 2007 into Number 7 with fiance and later husband, Liam Connor and in 2008, Fiz moved into Number 5 with Kirk Sutherland and Chesney Battersby-Brown to secure a residency order for Chesney. The property is currently empty.

No. 3
Number 3 is home to Emily Bishop and Norris Cole. Spider Nugent, Toyah Battersby and Rita Sullivan have all lived here too.

No. 4
Number 4 was home to the Peacocks, now the Websters. Fred Elliott lived here until his death in 2006. Ashley Peacock lived here with his wife Maxine. Maxine was brutally murdered in the lounge by Richard Hillman. Claire Casey moved in after as a nanny. She soon married Ashley and they had a son, Freddie. No. 4 is now home to the Websters after the families swapped houses.

No. 5
In 1997, The Battersbys moved to Weatherfield. Les Battersby, his wife Janice and his two daughters Leanne and Toyah. Leanne left in 2000 due to herself being in debt to drug dealer Jez Quigley. Toyah left to move to London and Janice and Les separated resulting in Janice moving out. Les brought in a lodger, Kirk Sutherland. Les then met Cilla Brown and they started a relationship. She moved in with her son, Chesney Brown. Les and Cilla married but Les left soon after to be a roadie. Cilla left in 2007 for a new life in Vegas, leaving her thirteen year old son behind. Because Kirk couldn't cope to look after Chesney, Cilla's daughter Fiz moved in. Kirk's girlfriend, Julie, has recently moved in.

No. 6
When the house was built, Des Barnes moved in with his then wife, Stephanie. His later wife, Natalie Barnes lived here with him until his death. Andy McDonald also lodged here. Matt Ramsden and his wife, Charlie lived here but left soon after when Matts affair with Maxine Peacock was exposed. In 2002, Tommy Harris moved here with his wife, Angela, his daughter Katy and his son Craig. In 2005, Tommy was murdered by Katy. Angela took the blame and was arrested. Katy later committed suicide and died in hospital. Angela's father, Keith Appleyard arrived to look after Craig.
Charlie Stubbs purchased the house in 2006 and evicted Keith and Craig (who later moved to Bournemouth and Germany respectively), then gave it a make-over and moved in with Tracy Barlow and her daughter Amy. Tracy murdered Charlie in the living room and later went to prison for it. Back on the market, it was bought in 2007 by Jerry Morton who moved in with his children Jodie, Mel, Darryl and Kayleigh. Finlay Bryant moved in later that year. Jodie left in late 2007. Jerry's ex wife arrived in 2008 and is now staying there, but moved out in 2008. On September 29th, Jerry, Kayleigh and Finlay moved to spain.

No. 7
Curly Watts lived here with his wife Emma and his son Ben. Blanche Hunt
bought the house for her granddaughter Tracy Barlow in 2003, but she later moved out.
In June 2004, Danny Baldwin began renting the house and moved in with his wife Frankie, and his two sons, Warren and Jamie. Warren soon moved out to live in Spain and Danny and Frankie separated due to Danny's affair with Jamie's girlfriend Leanne Battersby. Danny moved out and Frankie and Jamie begun a romance. Frankie left on New Year's Eve 2006. In 2007, Jamie took in Liam Connor as a lodger who eventually bought the house from Blanche who sold it to finance Tracy's legal bills. In 2008, Jamie moved into Number 12 Coronation Street with Violet Wilson and later left Weatherfield. Maria Sutherland moved in and married Liam, Tom Kerrigan currently lives here and sleeps on the sofa.

No. 8
Gail and Brian Tilsley bought the house and Gail stayed here with Nick and Sarah Louise. Gail later started a relationship with and married Martin Platt who moved in and they had a son, David. Nick left for Canada and Martin had numerous affairs and Gail threw him out. Meanwhile, Sarah got pregnant at 13 and had a daughter, Bethany. Gail married for the third time to Richard Hillman who turned out to be a serial murderer. Sarah moved out when she was 16 but soon came back after delivering a stillborn baby. In 2007, Sarah and Bethany left for Italy leaving Gail and David. In 2008, David was sent to a young offenders institute for a few months. He has now returned and living in the house with his girlfriend, Tina McIntyre. Ted Page then stayed as a temporary resident, keeping an eye on David and Tina whilst Gail was away visiting Sarah in Milan. Tina moved out on 8 August 2008 after she discovered David's spying, though she soon moved back in.

No. 9
Vera and Jack Duckworth moved in to the house in 1983. They had many lodgers, the most notable being, Tyrone Dobbs. His girlfriend Molly Compton moved in too. In 2007, Vera and Jack's grandson, Paul Clayton arrived to stay with them. Also, Tyrone and Molly bought the house from Jack and Vera but still allowed them to live there. In January 2008, Vera died leaving Jack heartbroken. Paul left in May 2008.

Number 10 is home to The Kabin. Rita Sullivan lives in the flat upstairs.

No. 11
Number 11 is owned by Steve McDonald. Eileen Grimshaw currently rents the premises from him. In 2000, she moved in with her two sons Jason and Todd moving in later. Todd left for London in 2004. Eileen also took in many lodgers including Sean Tully, Marcus Dent, Becky Granger, Violet Wilson and Lauren Wilson.

No. 12

Number 12 is owned by Steve McDonald. For a while he lived in the flat with his wife Karen. Following the purchase of the Rovers Return, Steve let the place to Michelle Connor and her son Ryan. After Michelle and Ryan moved in with Steve, Jamie Baldwin and Violet Wilson moved in for several months but eventually left to live in London. The property is currently empty.

No. 13
Number 13 was once home to Hilda Ogden who took in lodger Kevin Webster. He married Sally Seddon and they had two daughters. The Websters once lived here but left when they swapped houses with the Peacocks and now will live on No. 4 but The Peacocks are yet to live there when Kevin took the fuse to the power supply which resulted in a power cut.

No. 15a
Number 15 is home to the corner shop owned by Dev Alahan. Dev has lived in the upstairs flat with numerous girlfriends including Maya Sharma and Geena Gregory. Devs wife Sunita Alahan lived here with their two newborn twins Aadi and Asha. In early 2006, she left with them when she discovered Dev had other kids. Dev's daughter Amber Kalirai moved in in 2006, and lived with him for two years before Dev purchased a flat in the new Victoria Court development.

Following their move, the flat is empty.

No. 14a
Janice Battersby moved into this flat after her divorce from Les. Leanne Battersby moved in 2007, followed by Roger Stiles, Janice's new boyfriend.

No.16a
Number 16a is home to Roys Rolls Cafe. Roy Cropper owns the cafe and married Hayley Patterson. Hayley left temporarily in 2007 and Becky Granger lived here for a while in 2008.

No.17a
Charlie Stubbs lived here for a while but after buying Number 6 Coronation Street, He moved there and leased the flat to Maria Sutherland, who he was having an affair with behind his girlfriend Tracy Barlow's back. After the affair was discovered, Charlie threw Maria out and the flat has been empty ever since.

StreetCars flat

This is the flat above StreetCars owned by Steve McDonald. Steve's business partner Lloyd Mullaney lives here. Vernon Tomlin now lives at Lloyd's after he has broke up with his wife, Liz, Steve's mother. Steve lived here for a while after he was thrown out by his girlfriend, Michelle although he has now moved back into The Rovers Return.

Victoria Court

This is a new section of properties developed by Tony Gordon which were completed in August 2008. Dev Alahan was one of the first to purchase a property there.

No. 9a
This is the flat above the Bookies. Harry Mason and his son Dan moved in here in December 2007, Harry later moved out to live with his ex-wife Clarissa after they got back together.

5 Grassmere Drive
This is the residence of Audrey Roberts, She lived here with Bill Webster until they broke up in August 2008. David Platt and Ashley Peacock stayed here in 2007, and Maria Connor stayed here in 2008, while recovering from a miscarriage.

Weatherfield Quays
The Weatherfield Quays development was completed in 1989 on the banks of the River Irwell.Mike Baldwin moved into his flat at Montreal House in 1989, where he lived until his death in 2006. Mike's son Danny was living with Mike at the time. He later inherited the apartment. He moved out in late 2006.

Other notable residents of the Weatherfield Quays have been Steve McDonald, Alma Halliwell (formerly Baldwin), Dev Alahan, Maya Sharma and Danny Baldwin.
