The Little Portal Gizmo (also called lipog or simply Gizmo) is a software that can be used as a container for Java web applications developed by . The main idea behind it is to use Eclipse's plug-in infrastructure to support the development of web applications. One of the main differences, when comparing with other Java containers, is that the Gizmo doesn't require any XML based configuration or knowledge of the Java Servlet API.
