Jaeksoft WebSearch is an open source web search engine based on JAVA technologies: The Lucene Java text search library, the ZK_Framework powering the RIA interface and Apache Tomcat the stable and powerful web application server. History In late 2007,Jaeksoft WebSearch was initially started and developed by Emmanuel Keller as an in-house project. The goal was to provide search capability for the company website. In late 2008, the company decided to publish the software under the GNU General Public License.
