Linda Ravenswood

Linda Ravenswood is an artist, writer and vocalist.


She was born in Los Angeles, California and lived in Europe throughout the 1980's. In 1993 she moved to Ireland with her husband, the songwriter and music interpreter/musicologist Garrison White, to write and publish work. Her poetry has appeared in the journal Flaming Arrows, ( Dublin, Ireland, 1994 ) and in The Wilshire Review ( Los Angeles, California, 1999 ). Her drawings have been published in the The Wilshire Review ( Los Angeles, California, Volumes 1 and 2 2000 ). She studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, and is a triple graduate of The California Institute of the Arts in Art, Music and Theatre. She studied at several other academies worldwide, including Mount Saint Mary's College in Los Angeles, focussing on Creative Writing and Performance. She partnered with Stan Hillas Jones in 1997 and reunited again in 2005 to make new music/new media. Their album Songs from the Future was released in 2006.

She currently is on the faculty of Occidental College, in Los Angeles.
