Jac Vanek

Jac Vanek (born Jacquelene Vanek on May 9, 1987) is a American designer, self-proclaimed model, and photographer residing in Los Angeles, California. She is the ex-girlfriend of former lead guitarist and lyricist Ryan Ross. She is well known through her LiveJournal which streamed from December of 2003 to August of 2008. Vanek also established an apparel line in 2007.
Vanek has been associated with Warped Tour since 2004, where she was a band photographer two summers in a row. She's been a regular touring member since 2008, selling her bracelets and clothing and advertising her business.
Biography
Early life
Vanek was born in Orange County, California on May 9, 1987 to Mary and William. She graduated from University of California, Los Angeles in 2009 with a degree in Media Arts. She was awarded a Regents Scholarship for all four years that she attended UCLA.
Career
Apparel Line
Vanek launched her own apparel line in mid 2007, which started out featuring the famous "statement bracelets" and soon grew to sport t-shirts. Currently she is working on designing vintage necklaces for her line.
Other Works
She was featured in the cover art of Chicago-based emo band, 's debut album, If You Speak Any Faster which was released on August 23, 2005. She's also appeared in several music videos including Cobra Starship's "Send My Love to the Dancefloor, I'll See You in Hell (Hey Mr. DJ)" and The Click Five's "Catch Your Wave".
Personal Life
Vanek has two older brothers that reside on the east coast.
Friendship with Audrey Kitching
Vanek met Audrey Kitching sometime in late 2005, around the time she began dating Ross. Kitching was in a relationship with frontman Brendon Urie. The two no longer speak.
