Kirk of the Hills

Kirk of the Hills is a 1600 member Protestant Presbyterian Church (EPC) in Tulsa, Oklahoma led by Senior Pastor Dr. Wayne Hardy. Kirk of the Hills was originally part of the United Presbyterian Church of America which merged with the Presbyterian Church in the United States in 1983 to form the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. In 2006, the leadership of Kirk of the Hills voted to leave the P.C.U.S.A., citing spiritual differences. The Kirk joined the Evangelical Presbyterian Church in 2013.
Kirk of the Hills began meeting in 1961 in a local school before building a permanent location at 4102 E. 61st Street in Tulsa. A second campus, called Kirk Crossing, began meeting in 2010 at Jenks West Intermediate School, and opened a permanent location in the summer of 2014 at 114th and Highway 75 in Jenks.
Kirk of the Hills and Kirk Crossing are known as “The Kirk” in the Tulsa community. The Kirk is one church with two locations. Their vision statement is “Transformed by Christ to Transform the World.” The Kirk is known in the community for solid biblical teaching and an emphasis on local, national, and international missions. Local outreach efforts include a partnership with Savannah Landing apartments, Key Elementary, TPS, Jenks and Sapulpa schools, several area food banks, and over a dozen other Tulsa ministries. The church offers a full range of ministries for children, youth, and adults. They also offer specialized ministries for those with special needs (physical or intellectual disabilities) of all ages. The Kirk partners with and houses a special needs day program for adults with intellectual disabilities, called Pathways.
Dr. Wayne Hardy is the Senior Pastor, overseeing operations at both campuses. Dr. Dan Bair serves as the campus pastor at the Kirk of the Hills campus (Tulsa), and Pastor Sean Farver at the Kirk Crossing campus (Jenks). Pastor Aaron Elmore oversees adult ministries at both campuses.
The Kirk of the Hills campus offers both Traditional and Contemporary services at 9:30 and 11am every Sunday. Kirk Crossing has a Contemporary service at 9:30am. Together, on a Sunday morning they offer five worship services.
