Kenton "Eric" Clark was a former coach, counselor, and administrator at . He coached the 1977 Carmel Basketball Team to the IHSAA State Championship - a win that was widely compared to the 1954 Milan Basketball team which was the inspiration for the movie "Hoosiers" starring Gene Hackman. His achievements in athletics earned him entry into various Hall of Fames around Carmel and Indiana, including the Indiana High School Basketball Hall of Fame. Clark was a recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash in 1997 by then Indiana Governor Frank O'Bannon. He was officially memorialized by the Indiana State Senate in 2010 for his contributions to athletics and education in the state of Indiana.
