Clinton Ferro

Clint Ferro is an American storyteller, aviator, actor, producer, and nationally syndicated radio talk show host for the "Clint & Eliza Radio" show broadcast on 71 stations nationwide.
Early life
Ferro was born December 31, 1970 in the small upstate New York village of Endicott into an Italian American family. His parents divorced when he was nine years old. This allowed him to travel between the homes of his two parents during visitation periods. High School is where Clint was introduced into Drama and the Arts, playing the lead and sub-parts for the High School productions including the lead in "Oklahama" The drama team won many awards for their production that year. Clint also was credited for starting the High School's First Radio Station. WPQX-FM which ran for 6 months before the school discovered the station was a hoax and never broadcast on the air. This was of great surprise to the student body and faculty as it was an elaborate setup. A sound board and a vast record and tape collection where all he needed to act out the hoax station. Once Clint was allowed to have a school assembly pep rally, during which he convinced the 800 students that they were on air at the school's radio station singing happy birthday to the governor of Pennsylvania at the time. He later admitted it was a hoax whose purpose was to get them all out of class. Clint also excelled at golf leading the golf team to the state championship in 1987. Although the team did not win, Ferro shot consecutive scores of 72 and 75. He graduated Montrose Jr/Sr High School in 1988. That summer Clint earned a job at public radio station WVIA-FM Scranton/Wikes-Barre, PA. Clint explained, "it was a great opportunity for me to get my foot in the door a real radio station"
In 1988, he enrolled in Syracuse University as a Communications major looking to further his interest in radio. Many friends thought his lackluster enthusiasm for college led to his poor grades and eventual failure as a student. During college, he played in many rock and alternative bands primarily as the bands drummer and some as a singer with minimal success.
